Ondrej Dvorak at Fintech Meets the Regulators in Amsterdam

On June 12, our CEO Ondřej Dvořák took part in Fintech Meets the Regulators, an event hosted at the new De Nederlandsche Bank building and co-organized by the Holland Fintech Association. The event brought together regulators, fintech founders, legal experts, and policymakers to tackle a shared challenge: how to keep pace with increasingly complex and fast-moving regulations.

Together with our colleague Miroslav Hyrman, Ondřej co-led a breakout session on RegTech and AI for Compliance, joined by Brechtje Boeve (DNB) and Mark Arts (AFM). The discussion focused on how AI-powered tools are transforming compliance — not just by improving speed and efficiency, but by helping teams anticipate change rather than constantly reacting to it.

“Without AI, agility turns into fast panic,” Miroslav noted during the session — a comment that summed up the mood in the room. As regulations continue to evolve rapidly, many companies are realizing that manual processes and traditional workflows simply aren’t enough anymore.

The session offered a practical look at what’s working in RegTech today, and how we at COPS Solutions are helping clients stay ahead of the curve — building systems that simplify compliance without sacrificing control.

Throughout the event, the value of open dialogue between regulators and fintechs was clear. Whether the topic was crypto regulation, cross-border expansion, or AI’s growing role in supervision, the message was the same: “staying ahead means working together”.
